today is hazel's six month birthday! it's the strangest thing- i've
never experienced anything like this, where time seems to fly and stand
still a the same time. it feels like forever since she was born, but
it's also amazing how quickly things are changing... in the past month
she really seems to have woken up as a person- she's way more
interactive, way more smiley, she cries less often and is easier to
comfort (or at least distract) when she does, and she's just a helluva
lot of fun. we love you so much, hazybabe! and we look forward to more
changes and surprises and challenges and frustrations and most amazing
things ever. we love you!!
